Field Maintenance is diagnosing the fault of the large railroad maintenance machinery, finding out the fault parts and replacing it with the corresponding normal parts to ensure normal operation of the system. The key of this process is diagnosis which is testing the system or components and determining the trouble location.
Failure may locate on the machine, components or parts. This is the main part of the maintenance work.
